Ethel V. (Marston) Roberts, 94, wife of the late David R. Roberts Sr. died on Tuesday May 2, 2017 at Manchester Manor. She was born in East Glastonbury, CT to Elmer and Lilly (Denler) Marston. Ethel lived in East Hartford for over thirty years prior to moving to Manchester. Ethel is survived by her children; Alma Laundria and her husband Frank, David R. Roberts Jr. and his wife Sylvia and Allan R. Roberts all of East Hartford. In addition to her children, Ethel is survived by six grandchildren and their spouses; Daune and Steven Everitt, David and Daphne Roberts, Michael Roberts, Cindy Roberts and Gordon Dart, Kimberly Zalewa and Jonathan Roberts; as well as eight great-grandchildren, Samantha Roberts, Jennah Smith, Zackary Laundria, Alyssa Roberts, Cassandra Everitt, Edward Zalewa, Stephanie Zalewa and Maya Dart. A memorial service for Ethel will be held at The John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St. Manchester, CT on Saturday May 6th at 10:00 a.m. followed by a burial at Neipsic Cemetery, Glastonbury.
