Lucille (Moquin) Chevrette, 86, of Manchester, loving wife of the late Alfred J. Chevrette, passed away on April 13 at home with her family by her side. Lucille was born in Holyoke MA December 21, 1930, daughter of Agnes Boyle and Joseph Moquin and was raised in Manchester NH. In 1959 Lou and Al relocated to Manchester CT where they raised six children. She was a full time homemaker and later fulfilled her dream of becoming a nurse. She worked at Riverside Health Care, and later at Bidwell Health Care Center retiring in 1994. Lucille was a loving and kind hearted person and this carried over to her nursing career. We always heard what a wonderful lady she was by all those she touched. Lucille adored her family and cherished every minute with them, especially holidays and large celebrations. She and Al were passionate Boston Red Sox fans and loved cheering on the UCONN Woman's Husky team rarely missing a game. Lucille leaves behind her children Kate and Andre Dumas of East Hartford, Jane Bedell and Steve Miller of Avon, Joanna Chevrette of Glastonbury, David and Sandra Chevrette of Andover, and Tony Chevrette and Monica McDonald of Manchester, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was a most beloved mother and grandmother, whose presence will be sorely missed. In addition to her parents and husband, Lucille was predeceased by her daughter, Nancy Chevrette, granddaughter Lauren Bedell, and siblings Raymond, Joseph and Ernest Moquin, Pauline Makris and Geraldine Docos. The family is grateful for the assistance from CCCI, Vernon Visiting Nurse and Hospice team and especially Christianne, whose loving care over the past several years meant the world to her.
