William C. Anderson, 87, the husband of Catherine (Hall) Anderson died unexpectedly on Friday, February 24, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital. William was born in Manchester, the son of Helmar and Alice Anderson. For many years Bill and Catherine maintained homes in Westerly, RI and Leesburg, FL as well as in Manchester and had most recently moved to Bolton. Bill served as a First Lieutenant in the US Army during the Korean War. Before retiring he was an owner and operator of ABA Tool & Die Co. Besides his wife Catherine, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Susan and Tom Brandt and their children Michael Brandt and Catherine Hendrix, his daughter and son-in-law Joann and Tim Harrington and their children Colin and Tyler Harrington, his son and daughter-in-law William and Erin Anderson and their daughter Cameron and his great grandchildren Abigail and Samantha Hendrix. He is also survived by his siblings Elaine Berk, Shirley Dzielinski and Earl Anderson. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his siblings Don, Correan, Janet, and Joan . Memorial calling hours will be held on Friday, March 24th from 4:00 - 6:00 at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester, CT.
