John C. Kent, of East Hartford, CT, was delivered into the loving arms of Jesus on Sunday, February 26, 2017. John leaves behind his adored sons Daniel Robert Kent and Kevin John Kent of East Hartford; his heartbroken siblings, Paul & Anita Kent of Danielson, Thomas & Denise Kent of Fairbanks, Maribeth & Dan Labrosse of Fairbanks, Carol & Steve Gustamachio of Stafford Springs; and his former spouse Joanne. He also leaves many cherished friends and his canine companion Casey. He was predeceased by his brother Robert C. Kent. John was a member of the Stafford Springs Fishing and Game Club. A true family man, he especially enjoyed camping, fishing and hiking with his sons and always had a smile and a joke ready. He also loved watching the Boston Red Sox and the Washington Redskins with his sons. Family and friends may call at the John F.
