Obituary of Thomas H. Bugnacki

Thomas H. Bugnacki, 72, of Glastonbury, formerly of Manchester died Tuesday (July 17, 2012) at St. Francis Hospital. Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Frank and Anna (Gieryk) Bugnacki. He was a member of the US Army National Guard. Tom and his brother Frank founded Silk City Packing Company, Western Beef Mart Stores and Bugnacki's Special Meat Products. Later in life he worked with his son Michael at MTS Builders. He was a communicant of St. James Church where he was a Eucharistic Minister, and enjoyed his time volunteering at the local homeless shelter. Tom was also an avid Red Sox fan and an excellent cook. A man that treasured his family, he is survived by his children and their spouses Michael and Sheila Bugnacki of Manchester, Tracy and Jason Morin of Glastonbury, and Steven and Emily Bugnacki of Newington; and his grandchildren whom he adored, John, Maggie, Brooke, Alexa, Allie, Alex and Andrew. He is also survived by his siblings, Frank and Barbara Bugnacki, Mary Ann Bugnacki, and Dennis and Kathy Bugnacki, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Saturday (July 21st) at 9:15 am from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 am at St. James Church 896 Main St. Manchester followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Avon.
