Janet M. Sheridan of Manchester passed away peacefully December 29 at Manchester Manor. Kind and caring, Janet will be missed by her friends and family and leaves behind her daughter Linda (Tatro) Buckland, her son Lance Tatro and his wife Naween Khan, and her grandchildren, Michael Buckland, Ryan Buckland and Zane Tatro. She was predeceased by her brother Robert and sister Eileen. Janet was a graduate of St. Mary's Catholic High School in Lynn, Massachusetts. She was employed at Aetna, Pratt & Whitney and the State of Connecticut, but by far her favorite occupation was in the Records Department of the Manchester Police Department, where she worked until she retired. She enjoyed frequent visits from her friends and family during her last years at Manchester Manor. Calling hours will be 5 to 7 pm on Tuesday, January 3 with a service immediately following at Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center Street in Manchester.
