Joe Lewis Adams, 76, the husband of the late Dorothy (Butler) Adams died on Saturday (July 7, 2012) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Joe was born in Montgomery, Alabama, the son of Isaac and Clara Adams, and had lived in Manchester for many years. He was formerly employed in the aerospace industry. Joe is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Elizabeth J. and Albert Strickland of Manchester, his son Charles Adams of MA, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and his brother Preston Adams of Hartford along with many dear family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donnamarie Brown officiating. Burial will follow in East Cemetery, Manchester.
