Obituary of Michael Ray
Michael D. Ray, 48, a graduate of Manchester High School, found eternal peace on July 1st after suffering a long illness. The memory of his laughter and zest for life will be remembered and cherished by his daughters Samantha and Jacqueline Ray and their mother Christine Ray of Bolton, his parents Stephen and Jane Ray of Macon, GA, his sister Patricia Sorini and her husband Marc and their children Rylinn, Maya, Skyler and Bryson Sorini of Rockville, MD, his grandmother Agnes Finch of Zephyrhills, FL and countless other family and friends. Before becoming disabled Michael worked at Rexel in Hartford. Of his many hobbies, fishing was his favorite. During his eleven years as a resident of Bolton, Michael visited the lake on a daily basis. He was well known for his witty sense of humor and practical jokes. Michael was a very generous person; always willing to lend a hand to friend or stranger. His strong spirit and sense of determination were his hallmarks. Following cremation there will be a service to honor Michael's life on Sunday (7/8) from 5-7:00pm at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester. Fond memories and rubber chickens will be welcomed.
