Patricia (Hayes) Guinan, 88, of Manchester, the wife of the late Don A. Guinan, M.D. died Monday October 24, 2016, at home surrounded by her family. Born in Enosburg Falls, VT she was the daughter of the late Mark and Bessie (Dezotelle) Hayes, had lived in Manchester until she decided to present herself to her late husband as a birthday present in lieu of a birthday cake. She was a charter member of St. Bartholomew Church, Manchester. She is survived by her children Elizabeth Martin and her husband Tim, Don Guinan Jr. and his wife Joanna, William Patrick Guinan, Patricia Vicki and her husband Al, John Guinan and his wife Mary, and his daughter-in-law Brigid Guinan all of Manchester; her grandchildren Becky, Liz, Callum, Ella, Billy, Nathan, Bruce, Cadi, James, Sera, Colleen and Maggie; and several nieces and nephews. The family would also like to express their gratitude and appreciation for the loving care provided by Kesha McDonald, her devoted caregiver of two and a half years. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son Bruce D. Guinan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 27th, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Church 736 Middle Turnpike East, Manchester, followed by burial in East Cemetery.
