Obituary of Gerald S. Linsenbigler
Gerald S. Linsenbigler, Sr., 81, of Manchester and Sarasota, FL beloved husband of the late Helen (Lawler) Linsenbigler, died Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Hartford Hospital. Born in New Kensington, PA on October 25, 1934, he was the son of the late Dean and Bernetta (Hinderliter) Linsenbigler. Gerald was a US Navy veteran of the Korean War and had retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft after 40 years of service. He is survived by his children Cathryn Ware and her husband James of Wallingford, Scott Linsenbigler and his fiancée Suzanne O'Brien of Higganum, and Michael Linsenbigler and his wife Mary Ellen of Suffield, and his grandchildren Andrew and Nicole Ware, Chelsea and Megan Linsenbigler and Erin and Caitlin Linsenbigler. He is also survived by his brothers Kenny Linsenbigler and his wife Marge, Rich Linsenbigler, and Jim Linsenbigler; brother-in-law John Lawler and his wife Nancy; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his daughter Susan Anne Linsenbigler. Also a special thanks to his special "adopted" girls Sarah and Danielle Gosselin. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 26th, at 9:30 a.m. from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester, with a Mass of Christian Burial Celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Church 896 Main St. Manchester. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
