Obituary of Maria Hindle

Maria S. "Mary" Hindle, 91, the wife of the late Edmund H. Hindle died Thursday February 12, 2009 at Manchester Manor. Born in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of Michael and Mary (Ditomaso) Malerba she had lived in Manchester for many years. Mary was a communicant of St. James Church, a former member of the Ladies of St. James, the Emblem Club of Manchester and a volunteer at Manchester Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her sons Edmund H. Hindle Jr., David M. Hindle, and Ronald E. Hindle, her daughter-in-law Roberta Hindle, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-granddaughters. She is also survived by her brother John Malerba, her sisters Fran Lupacchino and Rita Gesmundo. She was also predeceased by her sisters Ann Wieland and Claire Foster. Funeral services will be held on Saturday (February 14th) at 9:30 from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial 10 am at St. James Church 896 Main St. Manchester followed by burial in St. James Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 8:30-9:30.
