Madeline (Reilly) Uccello, 88, of Manchester, the wife of the late James Uccello passed away Friday February 6, 2009 at Manchester Manor. Born in New Haven in 1920, she was the daughter of George and Stephanie Reilly. She was a communicant of the Church of the Assumption, a member of the church's Ladies Guild, and a member of the Manchester Senior Center. She leaves her precious children and step-children Mary (Penny) and Barry Lee, Robert Peterson and Laura Thomas, Patricia and David Jones, Ronald and Vicky Peterson, Kristina and Charles Judge, Mark and Cindy Uccello, Jane and John Morano, James, Jr. and Heidi Uccello, Robert Uccello and Joanne Montoli, Anita Grasso, and Carol LeMay, 24 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. She also leaves her sister Shirley Reilly Brata, her brother George Reilly and his wife Ruth, many nieces and nephews and her beloved cat "The Cheetah." Funeral service will be held on Wednesday (February 11th) at 9:15 am from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial 10 at the Church of the Assumption, Adams St. South, Manchester followed by burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 pm.
