M. Angela Tierinni, 74, of Manchester the wife of the late Joseph Tierinni Jr. died Wednesday January 14, 2009 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Hartford she was the daughter of the late Guisseppe "Joseph" and Mary (Tomassino) Pastore, had lived in East Hartford for 40 years before moving to Manchester in 1996. Angela was a former member of the East Hartford Democratic Town Committee for 15 years, and their Democratic Women's Club. She also served on the Board of Education for 13 years and was the Secretary for 6 years. Angela was a former library and classroom Paraprofessional at O'Connell School for 4 years and was past President of the O'Connell School PTO. She was also a secretary for Bottom Line Bookkeeping. She is survived by her sons Peter Tierinni and his wife Donna of East Hartford, James Tierinni of Manchester, John Tierinni of Manchester, Michael Tierinni and his wife Valerie of Simsbury, Andrew Tierinni of Manchester and Matthew Tierinni and his wife Paola of Glastonbury; her grandchildren, Pete, Heidi, Eric, Christopher, James, Jason, Spencer, Tyler, Meredith, Ryan, Megan, Brian, Matthew, Gabrial, Amanda and Juliana, and seven great-grandchildren. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her daughter Jane Marie Gauruder, her brother Michael Pastore and sister Mary Grace Plenzio. Funeral service will be held on Monday 10:15 am from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at Our Lady of Peace Church 370 May Road East Hartford followed by burial in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
