Elaine Naomi (Tedford) Weir, "Teddy," 78, the wife of the late Walter N. Weir, Sr. died on Sunday (January 11, 2009) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Manchester the daughter of the late Joseph and Lillian (Mattchett) Tedford, the former owners of the Sunshine Dairy, she had lived in Manchester for many years before moving to Andover in 1957. "Teddy" was a former East Hartford teacher and a realtor. She was a member of the Morgan Horse Breeders Assoc., the Andover Congregational Church, a past member of the Manchester Board of Realtors and a contributor to the Norton Fund of Andover. She is survived by her son Walter N. Weir, Jr. of Andover, her daughter and son-in-law Robin and Joseph Robinson of Andover and three grandchildren Amitee, Anthony and Adam. She is also survived by her brothers and their spouses John and Helen Tedford of NC, Gordon Tedford of Manchester, Bruce and Kay Tedford of MA and Alan and Simone Tedford of South Windsor and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her sister Shirley Larson and her brother Joseph Tedford. Family and friends may call at the John F.
