Obituary of Marlene LaFrancois

Marlene LaFrancois, daughter of the late Abby LaChance and the late Clarence Nadeau, and stepdaughter of the late Louis LaChance, passed into the waiting arms of her Lord on November 30, 2008 surrounded by her loving husband, daughter, granddaughters, and close family friend Carol. She will be missed and we are comforted knowing she is finally at peace. We will fondly remember her spirit, her laughter and the joy that she brought to our lives. She may be gone but her memory lives in our hearts. She leaves us behind to remember her life; her devout husband of 51 years with whom she shared her heart and soul Roy LaFrancois, her loving daughter Wannetta Wilson and her husband William of Maine; six siblings Betty Lancaster and husband Richard, Jackie Crane, and Gaylan Nadeau all of Maine, Shirley McKnight of New Mexico, Gary Nadeau and wife Carol of MA, and Louis LaChance Jr. and wife Debbie of WA; two granddaughters Monica King and husband Mike and Leah Plourde and husband Ross; 5 great-grandchildren; best friend Barbara Daigle and others. Besides her mother, father, and stepfather, Marlene was predeceased by her sister Robertine Merchant and her baby girl Rhonda. Funeral service will be held on Thursday (December 4th) at 9:15 am from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 W. Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at the Church of the Assumption Adams St. South, Manchester followed by burial in St. James Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7 pm.
