Obituary of Henry Wyman
Henry Wyman, 84, of Manchester, beloved husband of Francis T. (Anniello) Wyman died Saturday (November 1, 2008) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Henry and Julia Wyman. Henry was a US Army veteran of the 648th Tank Destroyer Battalion of World War II. He retired from Hamilton Standard as a machinist after many years of service. After retirement he truly enjoyed his time working as a school crossing guard for the Town of Manchester. Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons Gary J. and his wife Alice M. Wyman, Henry J. Wyman, and David J. and his wife Carla S. Wyman all of Manchester; his grandchildren James, Alissa, Deanna, Jonathan, Brendan, Ben and Jordan; his great-granddaughter Aubrey; his siblings Mary Clapper, Preston Wyman, Blanche Armentano and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Frederick and Leo Wyman. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday (November 5th) at 11:30 am at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by burial in St. James Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-8.
