Mary (Dipinto) Quey, 86, of Manchester, the wife of the late Clement Quey died Tuesday (September 23, 2008) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Manchester, she was a lifelong resident. She had retired from Manchester Modes after forty years of service as a seamstress. Mary enjoyed camping with her family and friends throughout New England. She was also a participant within the Manchester Senior Center, where she enjoyed bocce. She is survived by her son Frank Quey and his wife Patricia (Sweet) Quey of Bolton, her sister Irene Gerich of Manchester; her niece and nephews Arthur Gerich of Manchester, Kathy Nordberg of East Hartford and Stephen Gerich of East Hartford and her grand-niece Sadie Rose Gerich. Funeral service will be held on Friday (September 26th) 11 am at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by burial in St. James Cemetery. Family and friends may cal at the funeral home on Friday morning from 9-11.
