Henry L. Ledbetter, 89, the husband of the late Marie T. (McAdoo) died Sunday (August 10, 2008) at St. Francis Hospital. Born in East St. Louis, IL he had lived in Manchester most of his life before moving to Las Vegas in 1988. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II, and was formerly employed by East Hartford McKeown Drywall and Wharton Distributing. He is survived by his children, Richard H. Ledbetter and his wife Elizabeth of Manchester, James L. Ledbetter and his wife Rev. Sharon Ledbetter of Columbia, and Lois Lovvoll and her husband Gudmun of Charlestown, RI, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. The John F. Tierney Funeral Home, Manchester has charge of the arrangements.
