Obituary of Antoinette Camposeo Lavallee

Antoinette "Ann" (Aceto) Camposeo Lavallee, 93, of Manchester the wife of the late Raymond F. Camposeo Sr. and the late Oliver Lavallee died Wednesday (August 6, 2008) at her home. Born in Manchester, she was the daughter of Pasquale and Anna Antonia (Cacciapaglia) Aceto, and was a life long resident. She was formerly employed by Cheney Brothers and retired from Pioneer Parachute. Ann was known for her green thumb nurturing many plants and flowers. She never missed an opportunity to participate in bingo and card games with friends and family. An avid basketball fan at all levels she especially enjoyed watching her favorite players, Kobe Bryant, Caron Butler and all the members of the UCONN Men's and Women's teams throughout the years. She is survived by her son Joseph F. Camposeo and his wife Elaine N. of Bolton. She was the beloved "Nana" to Nicholas Camposeo and his wife Sheri of Charlotte, NC and Leah Camposeo of Brighton, MA, and her great-grandson Joseph Gabriel Camposeo of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by her brothers Joseph E. Aceto, John W. Aceto, and Pasquale "Nene" Aceto and his wife Emma R., her sister-in-law Frances Aceto and many loving nieces, nephews, and step-children. Besides her husbands, she was predeceased by her son Raymond F. Camposeo Jr.; her sisters Beatrice Ames and Julie Lariviere; and her brothers Paul Aceto and Peter Aceto. She also leaves behind many friends and caring staff at Westhill Garden Congregate. Ann's family would like to thank the Connecticut Community Care Aides for their care. Funeral service will be held on Monday (August 11th) at 9:45 am from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am at the Church of the Assumption Adams Street South, Manchester followed by burial in St. James Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Raymond F.
