FERGUSON, Leigh H., Leigh H. Ferguson, 74, of Bolton, husband of Mary Ann Ferguson, died Sunday, (August 3, 2008) at his home with his wife by his side. They celebrated 50 years together last November. He was born July 23, 1934 in Hartford, the son of Charles and Florence Ferguson. He had been a Bolton resident since 1966. Prior to retiring in 1992, Leigh was employed by the Fuel Cell division of United Technologies for 26 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife, his four children and their families, Leslie and Mitch Burte of Andover MA, Martin Ferguson and Dr. Lillian Rich of Westborough, MA, Charles Ferguson and Regis Rampellini of Stonington,CT, Malcolm Ferguson of Rosewell, GA, and four grandchildren, Jacob and Leigh Burte and Josephine and Caryse Ferguson. Leigh was a life long golf fan both playing and watching the professionals. He relished his leisure time on Cape Cod and enjoyed many trips to Tanglewood listening to classical music. He was an avid reader and history buff. Family and friends may call at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St., Manchester on Tuesday, August 5, from 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 6 at 11:00 am at Tierney Funeral Home, followed by burial in Bolton Center Cemetery.
