Filomena (Scudieri) Balboni, 85, of Manchester the wife of the late Dante Balboni died Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Manchester Manor. Filomena was the salutatorian of her graduating class of Manchester High School. She was very artistic, loved crafts and quilting. She is survived by her daughters and their spouses Andrea and Richard Nicolas, and Laura and Gary Roberge; and the greatest joy in her life, her grandchildren, Jessica Nicolas, Karen and Michelle Roberge all of Tolland. Funeral service will be held on Monday (July 21st) at 11 am at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by burial in St. James Cemetery.
