Kathleen "Kakkie" (Ryan) Collins, 84, the widow of Daniel F. Collins, Jr., died on Monday (June 23, 2008) in Temple Terrace, FL. Born in the Bronx, NY the daughter of Daniel and Mary (Brady) Ryan she had lived in Manchester for over forty years. Kathleen was formerly employed by SNET. She is survived by her children and their spouses Donna and Robert Alibrio of Manchester, Kerry and Laurie Collins of Lake Mary, FL, Danita and Robert Sulik of Manchester, Daniel Collins III of Tampa, FL and Patrick and Rebekah Collins of Manchester; her grandchildren Neil Alibrio and his wife Kera, Lauren Spina and her husband Matt, Ashley Alibrio; Collin, Kate and Molly Sulik; Samantha and Nicole Collins; Kaelin and Aiden Collins and her great grandchildren Gavin and Kayla Alibrio; Alyssa and Madelyn Spina. She is also survived by her sister Mary Collins of Yonkers, NY and was predeceased by her sisters Anne Benson and Claire Collins and her brother John Ryan. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:15 from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 at St. James Church 896 Main St. Manchester with burial in East Cemetery, Manchester.
