Arthur "Bill" Peck, Jr., 62, the husband of twenty-eight years to Lora (Reilly) Peck died on Saturday (May 24, 2008) at Manchester Memorial Hospital surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Manchester the son of the late Arthur W. Peck, Sr. and Dorothy (Cordner) Cook. Prior to retiring Bill had been employed at Metals Testing for seventeen years. He had a true passion for his grandchildren, watching Jeopardy, bowling, crossword puzzles and rooting for the Atlanta Braves. Besides his wife he is survived by his children and their spouses Karen Roberts, Cindy and Mike Sirois, Lois and Ken Chappell, Kenneth Peck, Sara Shemanskis and William Coniam and his grandchildren David, Nikki, Jon, Miranda, Tyler, Matthew, Kyle, Shane, Dylan, Alex and Makayla. He was predeceased by his grandson Austin. He is also survived by his siblings and their spouses Gary and Pamela Peck, Richard and Vicki Peck and Kathy and Jim Machie several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a special friend Mimi and his father-in-law Hugh Reilly and sisters-in-law Lucinda, Linda and Lorraine. He was also predeceased by his brother Wayne and mother-in-law Elizabeth Reilly. Family and friends may call at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester on Tuesday evening from 4-7. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday evening. Burial will be private.
