Obituary of Townsend Emily
Emily (MacLean) Townsend, 80, of Coventry, the wife of Albert L. Townsend died Tuesday (April 1, 2008) at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Cohasset, MA she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Marion (Hobson) MacLean and had lived in Coventry for most of her life. Besides her husband she is survived by her children Robert L. Townsend of Ellington, and Dianne (Townsend) Bercian of Wallingford. Family and friends may call at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester, CT on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Connecticut Chapter 279 New Britain Road Kensington, CT 06037.
