Mary E. (Cahill) Moran, 79, of East Hartford the wife of the late Martin J. Moran died suddenly March 13, 2008, her birthday. Born in Hartford, March 13, 1929 the daughter of James and Mary (Shea) Cahill, she had lived in East Hartford most of her life. She was a graduate of Buckley High School, Hartford and a communicant of St. Rose Church, East Hartford. She is survived by her children and their spouses Robert Moran and his wife Patricia of Manchester, and Mary Bonk and her husband Edward of Manchester, her grandchildren, Andrew, William, Meg, Ryan and Lauren. She is also survived by her son-in-law David Bush of Newington and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her daughter Sharon A. Bush, and her siblings Margaret, Thomas, John, Lester, James and Ann. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday (March 18th at 9:15 am from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial 10 am at the Church of the Assumption Adams Street South, Manchester followed by burial in St. Mary Cemetery, East Hartford. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 4-7.
