Obituary of Richard J. Labonte

Richard J. Labonte, 62, of Manchester, the husband of Patricia (Pelletier) Labonte died Thursday (December 20, 2007) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Providence, RI he was the son of Edgar James Labonte and the late Gertrude Olive Robidioux.

Richard had lived in Manchester for most of his life and retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in 1982. He was a Marine Corp Veteran of the Vietnam Era and was a member of the Marine Corps League Hardware City Detachment.

Besides his wife and father, he is survived by his godson Troy Theriault of Sinclaire, ME; his brother Ronald J. Labonte and his wife Cindy of Columbia; and his nephew Christopher Labonte and his wife Carolyn of Montville, CT. Besides his mother he was predeceased by his brother Russell E. Labonte.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday (December 29th) at 10:15 am from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at the Church of the Assumption, Adams Street South, Manchester, followed by burial with full military honors in Hillstown Road Cemetery.
