Dominic P. Fratus, 87, of Manchester the husband of sixty years to Helen (Carriera) Fratus died Sunday August 26, 2007 at Manchester Manor. Born in Plymouth, MA he had lived in Manchester for many years. He retired after many years of service as a Postal Carrier with the United States Postal Service. Dominic was a US Army veteran of World War II. Besides his wife he is survived by his children Dominic P. Fratus Jr. and his wife Ann of Cologne, MN, Michele N. Finley and her husband Raymond J. of Vernon, and Renee R. Pierce of Belgrade, ME; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday (September 1st) at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center Street Manchester.
