Jeffrey R. Hartley, 40, of Stafford Springs and Manchester died unexpectedly Saturday (August 4, 2007). Born in Manchester he was the son of Rosemary Oakes and Dennis Hartley. Jeff was an avid sports fan and loved to cook. Besides his parents he is survived by his brother Steven R. Hartley; his step-father Raymond Oakes; his step-brother Raymond Oakes Jr.; his aunt Joan Peterson; his uncles Ronald David Hartley, and Charles L. Hartley; his cousin Scott Peterson and numerous friends. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday (August 8, 2007) at 10 am at East Cemetery, Manchester. The John F. Tierney Funeral Home, Manchester has care of arrangements.
