Obituary of Eleanor "Terry" G. Mathewson

Eleanor “Terry” G. Mathewson, 90, widow of Clifford W. Mathewson died on Friday Aug 31 at her Manchester home surrounded by her loving family. Eleanor and Clifford were married for 64 years prior to his death. Born in Hartford, daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Kelly) Miller, she worked at the Mott’s/Shop-Rite stores for 18 years.

Eleanor is survived by her daughter Christine Nodine and her husband Raymond of Bristol, her sons David Mathewson and Timothy Mathewson both of Manchester, her grandchildren Jessica Kowalski and her husband Erik, Scott Mathewson, Theresa Nodine, Stephen Mathewson, Daniel Mathewson, and Katelyn Mathewson, great grandchildren Bryant and Olivia, and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brother Leonard Miller.

Eleanor’s family would like to offer a special note of thanks for the loving care provided by her home health aid and friend Tracie W.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday September 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Bartholomew Church 45 Ludlow Rd. Manchester followed by burial at St. James Cemetery 368 Broad St. Manchester. Family and Friends may call at the John F.
