Obituary of Marie G. Landers

Marie G. Landers, 94, of Manchester, beloved wife of the late Thomas E. Landers Sr. passed away peacefully on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Manchester Manor with her loved ones by her side.  Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Nora (Sheehan) Gorman.  She graduated from St. Francis School of Nursing, and having worked in area convalescent homes, she had retired from Bidwell HCC.  She is survived by her grandson, Thomas A. Landers of Manchester; her granddaughter Caitlin Landers; her sister Patricia Gorman of Avon; and her dear friend Cathy MacDonald.  In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son Thomas E. Landers, Jr.; and her brother Robert J. Gorman.  Marie’s family would like to offer a special note of thanks to the staff of Manchester Manor for their loving care and compassion.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.  at St. Bridget Church 80 Main St. Manchester on Friday, June 22^nd followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Hartford.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to East Catholic Hight School, Advancement Office, 115 New State Road, Manchester, CT 06042 (online here).  The John F.
