I have known Gerry for many years. While teaching at Academy, Jerry and I became friends along with another teacher, Wayne Soares. We continued our teaching friendship at Gideon Welles, both of us being members of the Social Studies department. One of the most fondest memories I have was the day Jerry and Wayne came to visit me at my home in Haddam. We hung out at the house, recalling past teachers and students. We loved to commiserate on our past teaching experiences and share stories of the "good old days". We spent the rest of the day taking a walk on the beach followed by a great lunch at Bill's Seafood. I won't forget you Jerry and Wayne and will always fondly remember those days. God Bless. Paul.
