Obituary of Carol Anderson

Carol W. Anderson, 71, of Manchester, the beloved wife of 36 years to David Anderson died Friday (April 1, 2011) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Hartford, October 21, 1939, the daughter of the late Milton F. and Frances Wagner she was a lifelong resident of Manchester. Carol was a member of the Manchester Emblem Club and was a communicant of St. James Church. Besides her husband she is survived by her children Kathleen McConnell of Stafford Springs, Brenda Hamilton and her husband Ralph of Manchester, Robert McConnell and his wife Anne of Ellington, Caroline Abele and her husband David of Manchester, and Sharon Torneo and her husband Nick of Rocky Hill; her grandchildren Stephen McCann, Emily and Abby Acelin, Erin and Ryan McConnell, and Daniel, Joseph and Elizabeth Carol Abele; and her great-grandson Matthew Acevedo. She is also survived by her brother James R. Wagner and Lynn England of Rocky Hill; sister-in-law Barbara Anderson of Manchester; brother-in-law Leonard Anderson of Florida and nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her daughter Karen McCann. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday (April 6th) at 10 am at St. James Church 896 Main St. Manchester followed by burial in St. James Cemetery, Manchester.
