Doris E. Bush, 93, died on March 25, 2011 in South Windsor, CT, where she had lived the past 2 years. Born December 13, 1917 in Medford, MA, she was the daughter of Elizabeth and Joseph Dawson. Raised in Medford, MA, she attended local schools and graduated from Medford High School in 1935. She lived most of her adult life in Lynnfield and Groton, MA, moving to Connecticut in 2004. Doris was pre-deceased by her husband Russell Stewart in 1952 and her husband Byron Bush in 1995. She is survived by her two sons, Richard and his wife Carol of Ellington, CT and Frank and his wife Jane of Glastonbury, CT. She also leaves 6 special grandchildren: John Stewart of Colorado Springs, CO, Kimberly Osbourne and her husband Patrick of Charlestown, MA, William Stewart of Hartford, CT, Tim Stewart and his wife Jessica of East Hampton, CT, Jay Stewart and his wife Nicole of Charlestown, MA, and Tom Stewart of Glastonbury, CT. She also leaves her great-grandchildren: Tyler and Sadie Osbourne, Chloe and Madelyn Stewart, and Cameron Stewart. In addition, she leaves many nieces and nephews and their families; she was very fond of them all. Doris will be remembered as a strong, intelligent, independent woman who always put family first. She spoke often and fondly of her brothers George, Harry, and Frank, and her sister Connie. She adored her husbands. Her home was a place where family gathered. She took great pride in spending quality time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the quiet leader of her family and will be greatly missed by all. A memorial gathering will be held in Lynnfield, MA, at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doris's name can be made to the charity of your choice. The John F.
