Mo and I first met on the babyboomer chatroom. How excited I was to meet her in person. She was as sweet and funny in person as she was online. Over the years she shared family fun times as well as all the crazy post office stories.
I was looking forward to seeing her again this July as we celebrated another boomer wedding with so many boomer friends. She will be missed for sure but I know she'll join us when we do a We are family dance.
To all her family and friends please know you are in my prayers.

Barry and I got to know Maureen through a baby boomer chat room that we all went to over many years. We would all get together from time to time at reunions. They were always fun and happy times. She made those times happy and fun. She was caring, kind and had a fantastic sense of humor.
Barry would drink hot chocolate instead of coffee. One of the few who did this. Maureen would sit and look at Barry with those expresive eyes of hers and laugh out loud. Telling him how surprised she was that he drank cocoa instead of coffee. Then the two of them would go back and forth about this laughing and joking. Giving us her special and wonderful hugs always.
So from then on Maureen would always refer to Barry as the cocoa man. In e-mail, phone calls and any time we would see her it was always, "Hi there cocoa man."
We send our deepest sympathy to her daughter, Mother and family.
She was a special and unique person.
thinking of you all

Oh, so very sorry to hear that Maureen passed away! She was my letter carrier for several years and we always swapped Postal stories. I being a machine mechanic and her a carrier.
Later I retired and still saw her on occasion either on the route or at the health fairs. She always had a wonderful smile and a quick laugh. A real pleasure to know her.
Could someone please tell me how she died?

Maureen was a coworker at the post office, but she was far more than that to me. She was a very special friend. We fought like sisters sometimes, but we had a lot of good times together too. She'll always have a special place in my heart.

Maureen will always live in my memories of over 25 years of unquestioning friendship and love. We met through our daughters and bonded over mutual interests, and we stuck together through all the sorrows and the joys that come with life. Distance was never an obstacle to our friendship, and so it will be forever. I know she found Higgins on the Rainbow Bridge. Goodbye my friend.
