Clifton Parker Wilson, 90, the husband of the late Helen (Bartus) Wilson died on Saturday (February 19, 2011) in Manchester. He was born in New Britain, CT the son of Clifton W. and Florine (Parker) Wilson. Clifton was a World War II veteran having served in the US Army Air Corp. and was formerly employed by Landers, Flary and Clark, Aetna Life Insurance Co. Sisson Hardware, Desa Capitals International and Reed and Prince of Worcester, MA. Clifton is survived by his family Betty-Jean Trout and her husband Roy, Clifton J. Wilson and his wife Elise, Mary Jane Karcz, Judy Bell and Kathryn Tabachnick and her husband Brian; his grandchildren Jennifer Vasquez and her husband Frank, Christopher Trout and his wife Crystal, Michael Wilson and his wife Andrea Ausmus, Amanda Wilson Katie, Peter and Matthew Karcz, Stephanie Jackson and her husband David and Ben, Jason and Heather Tabachnick ; his great grandchildren Diego, Julia, Sara and Colton; several nieces and nephews and his special friends Ken and Cheryl Sullivan. Clifton was also predeceased by his brother John and his sister Martha Ann Warner. Funeral service will be held on Friday (2/25) at 10:15 from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 at St. James Church 896 Main St. Manchester. Burial will take place at a later date. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
