Nicholas P. Maglio, 63, of Bristol, Connecticut died on February 2, 2011. Nick was born in New Britain, CT on September 24, 1947 to Margaret Maglio of Broad Brook, CT and the late Silvio Maglio. He was employed by the Bristol Board of Education for 33 years until his retirement in 2006. Nick taught at Stafford and Edgewood Schools in Bristol. He is survived by his wife Laura (Taylor) Maglio of Bristol, and his sons Nicholas and Shari-Lyn Maglio of Glastonbury, their sons Nicholas and Jake; Richard and Caren Maglio of Bristol and their children Sarah and Ryan; and Robert and Lisa Maglio of Meriden and their daughter Sophia. Nick is also survived by his mother, Margaret, his sister Darlene Jenkins and her husband William and their son William of Broad Brook. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Barbara Misicka and her husband William and their son William of Carmel, New York. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday (February 8th) at 10 am from the O'Brien Funeral Home 24 Lincoln Ave. Bristol, CT with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at St. Gregory Church, Bristol followed by burial in West Meadow Cemetery, Newington.
