We wish to express our deepest sympathy to the O'Donnell family. We first met PV and all the members of Barley Bree when they first came to Halifax in the '70's. We were among their biggest fans and have attempted to stay in touch with PV, Tommy and Jimmy Sweeney over the years. If I may attempt to quote a great poet regarding PV's fiddle music: "His music in my head I hear long after he was seen no more." Rest in Peace PV.

Marian,
Words cannot express how saddened we are on the passing of PV. I have known PV for over 20 years. I will always remember him as a gentle and classy man who always enjoyed telling us a joke or two. He shared so many gifts with others, often without ever knowing how he touched so many souls. He is truly one in a million. I can't imagine what you are going through at this time. I wish we lived closer so we could be there to hug you, and help you through this difficult time. Please be strong and take care of yourself. Love and God Bless.
