Theresa I. "Tee" Berntsen, 93, of Manchester, the loving wife of the late Frederick T. Berntsen died Friday (December 24, 2010) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Vergennes, VT February 7, 1917 she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mary Bessette. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Edward Berntsen and his wife Gale of Tallahassee, FL, Patricia Goodale and her husband Wayne of Bellingham, MA, and Margaret Gallant and her husband Roy of Manchester; her grandchildren Alana and her husband K.C., Neil, Christine and her husband Gary, Cindy and her husband Steve, David and his wife Barbara, and Patsy and her husband Tony; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Theresa adored animals, nature and flowers, especially her two feline companions. "If there was ever an angel on earth, it was Theresa." Funeral service will be held on Wednesday (December 29th) at 1:00 pm at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by burial in Center Cemetery, Coventry. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00-1:00.
