Obituary of Genevieve Coyle

Genevieve Lloyd Coyle, 85, of East Hartford, the wife of John Mahlon Coyle died Friday (November 26, 2010) at Manchester Manor. Born in Hodgdon, ME, January 27, 1925 she was the daughter of the late William and Blanch (Dickinson) Lloyd. Genevieve served in the US Navy during World War II and had retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. Besides her husband she is survived by her children Judith Sadosky and her husband Robert of Manchester, Richard W. Coyle of Willington, and John L. Coyle and his wife Patricia of Granby; her grandchildren Dr. Kevin Sadowski and his wife Susan, Kristen J. Beaupre and her husband Christopher, and Ryan and Sean Coyle; and her great-grandchildren Ava and Michael Sadowski. She is also survived by her sisters Margaret Crane of Arizona, and Pauline Carter of Canada, and her brother Hudson Leigh Lloyd of Maine, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Forest Lloyd, Katherine Chase, Samuel D. Lloyd, William Cedric Lloyd, Joseph A. Lloyd and Winona Clark. Funeral service will be held on Thursday (December 2nd) at 7 pm at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-7 pm. Burial in Hodgdon Maine will be at the convenience of the family.
