Obituary of Francis Beaupre
Francis L. Beaupre, 74 of Windsorville, beloved husband of Florence (St.Amant) Beaupre for 52 years, passed away at home with his caring and loving family by his side November 9, 2010.
Born December 12, 1935 in Lille Me, a son of the late Frank and Anna (Legasse) Beaupre.
He served in the U.S. Army's 11th Airborne Division, Ft. Campbell, KY 1954-1957.
Prior to his retirement he was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 34 years in Hartford and Manchester.
A life-member of the Disabled American Veterans and past Commander for DAV Chapter #47 South Windsor. A life-member of the Elks Club Manchester and a member of St. Catherine's Church in Broad Brook.
He attended Manchester Community College and was a fan of the Ladies UCONN Huskies.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and walking at the Buckland Hills Mall with family and friends.
Along with his parents, Francis was predeceased by two brothers Richard Beaupre (Enfield) and James Beaupre (New Hampshire).
He is survived by a son Frank J. Beaupre and his wife Lorraine of Windsorville, three loving daughters Kathleen A. Emery and her husband Stephen of Winsted, Lori-Ann Horan and her husband Kevin of Windsor Locks, and Lynn O'Clair and her husband David of Ellington, a brother Donald S. Beaupre and his wife Pauline of Manchester, a sister-in-law Jeanine Beaupre of Enfield; ten grandchildren, Sgt. Roy Thompson III, Carly and Rik Emery, Daniel and Kellen Horan, Douglas, Rebecca and Lauren Nadeau, Ryan and Elyse Beaupre, one great granddaughter Ariona Thompson, many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Francis's family would like to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to their helpful neighbors, the Manchester and Enfield Cancer Centers, VNA and hospice care staff.

Family and friends may call at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester on Sunday (November 14th) from 2-5 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday (November 15th) at 9 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 am at St. Catherine Church 4 Windsorville Road Broad Brook, CT.
