Vinnie, I am sorry I couldn't make it down from Vermont in time for your dear Dad's funeral. I was really interested to read about his wonderful harmony singing - I didn't know he did that. My heartfelt condolences to you and all your family.

Dear Jean and family, It has been my joy to know Vin and you through the affiliation of their great hobby, Barbershop. We looked forward to connecting at Internationals and I see how many wonderful people we knew thru the society. You all go way back and I still think of the Sleepless Knights who sang for us at a "Just Married" in R.I. party-1961. Stay strong and know so many that loved Vin are praying for you all at this sad time. My sincere condolences. Nancy Arnold

Vinny. When I think of the name I think of a flawless straight man to Dicky and Tommy. Just another of so many of his accomplishments in life. Guys like him make the world a better place to live.

Dear Jean, I was so sorry to hear of Vinnie's passing. So many of my favorite childhood memories include you and Vinnie. The shows, the afterglows. I remember my sisters and me going off to Dairy Queen, all stuffed into the Corvette! The weekends at the beach with Mrs Zito's pizza and lobsters. The Christmas caroling and party at the Heath's. So many more. You are in my thoughts and in my heart. With love, Nancy

Dear Chris: My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. When my Mom died, this poem was very comforting - hope you will also find it so: Miss Me - But Let Me Go When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me I want no rites in a gloom filled room Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little - but not too long and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared Miss me - but let me go. For this journey that we all must take and each must go alone It's all a part of the Master's plan a step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick of heart go to the friends we know, and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss me - but let me go. Author Unknown

To the family of Vin Zito; My name is Keith Goudge and I first met Vin when he and his 4tet of the day came to Moncton NB to sing on our show in 1968. I have met him many times since and was always rewarded with his kindness and willingness to help. One time, Vin offered help, not to me but to my parents; It was in '75 (I believe) when the gasoline shortage was acute. I had told him that my parents were driving to Fl for their winter vacation. Vin gave me your home phone number with instructions to contact him if they were having trouble finding gas. As it turned out, they did have a problem and called Vin; He took the trouble to drive to where they were and led them to a station that had gas and they were on their way. If I recall correctly, it was on a Sunday morn. That was Vin all over; someone needed help and he was there. My Dad wasn't even a barbershopper but he had offered his help through me months before. Rest well, my old friend and enjoy the new quartet I know you have already organized. Keith and Joy Goudge, Bedford/Sackville NS Chapter (Millstream Chorus),
