As a young child my Dad ( Abe Stewart) talked frequently of his baby brother, David. When I was 9 years old we took a trip to CT to visit my Mom's Sister who lived within 30 miles of my infamous Uncle David. I finally got to meet him and his family. This meeting is one of my fondest memories of childhood. I remember meeting, David, Timmy and Cheryl. While the adults visited and caught up on lost time together we children played Parcheesi (spelling?). That was my first time playing that game and became a childhood favorite because it was something I shared with my cousins. I never had the opportunity to ever again meet Uncle David or visit with my cousins but have always felt very close to them because of that one WONDERFUL visit. After my Dad went to be with the Lord Uncle David and my Mom remained close and in contact with one another. This was a blessing as we have lost contact with any of the other Stewart family members. Sad, but true. I hope we can continue to have contact with one another and share through the many years to come. I love all of you and you are certainly in my thoughts and prayers. You will miss your Dad. My Daddy has been gone for 8 years now and at times I miss him as much as I did in the beginning. I feel blessed to have the memory that I have of my Uncle David.
With much love and prayers,
Susan
