Sarah M. Hyson, 94, of Coventry the wife of the late Erwin A. Hyson died Monday (June 7, 2010) at her home. Born in Hartford, she had lived in both Manchester and Coventry for many years. She was formerly employed in manufacturing by Colt, Underwood Typewriter, and Fuller Brush. She is survived by her five sons, Henry Hyson, Thomas J. Hyson, Erwin A. Hyson, Jr., William A. Hyson, and Allen Hyson, her three daughters, Diana R. Hobbs, Sarah M. Calkins, and Frances K. Brown. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Thursday (June 17th) at 10 am at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by burial in Melrose Cemetery, Broad Brook.
