Jennie (Neron) Dube, 90, of Glastonbury the wife of thirty years to the late Louis A. Neron passed away Tuesday (June 8, 2010) surrounded by her loving family. Born April 22, 1920 she had lived in Glastonbury for over 60 years. She was employed by Pratt & Whitney for over 30 years retiring in 1983. After her retirement she worked for the Glastonbury Board of Education for an additional 20 years retiring in 2003 at the age of 80. She was the daughter of the late Carlo and Frances Scagnelli of Fiorini D'Olmo, Italy. She is survived by her three daughters, Frances Lombardo of Vernon, Marie Wrzosek and her best friend Richard Corentin of Glastonbury, and Louise Curran and her husband John of Chatham, MA. She was predeceased by her son Robert Neron of Glastonbury, two sisters and a brother Madeline Botti of Manchester, Ginger Yourkas of Manchester and John Scagnelli of Munich, Germany. Besides her daughters she is survived by four grandchildren Richard Scagnelli and his wife Sherry of Manchester, Ann-Marie Holmes of Glastonbury, Chris Curran and his wife Jennifer of Indianapolis, IN and Rob Wrzosek of Manhattan, NY. There are also four cherished great-grandchildren, Taylor Scagnelli of Manchester, Robbie Scagnelli of Manchester, Claire Curran and Alexander Curran both of Indianapolis, IN and several nieces and nephews. Our family would like to thank the staff of Vernon Manorfor their outstanding care of our mother during the past several years. Funeral service will be held on Friday (June 11th) at 10 am at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by burial in St. James Cemetery, Manchester. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
