Susan Lynn Agostinelli, 55, of Columbia passed away on June 5, 2010 at Hartford Hospital. Susan was a lifelong resident of Connecticut. She was born in Manchester, grew up in Manchester and Glastonbury and lived most of her life in the Columbia area. She graduated from Glastonbury High School in 1972. Susan was employed as a legal secretary for over twenty-five years, currently with the law firm of McGann, Bartlett & Brown, where her dedication, loyalty, friendship and humor will be greatly missed. Susan is survived by her beloved mother, Maxine Holmes Manfreda of Columbia and her stepfather, Frank Manfreda of Windham; her devoted father, Henry Agostinelli and his wife Adua of Manchester. She also leaves her sister and best friend, Deborah Agostinelli Caputo, her husband Thomas Caputo, their son and cherished nephew Douglas Caputo all of Columbia; her dearest brother Matthew Manfreda of Windham; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, lifelong friends and co-workers. The family would like to acknowledge the extraordinary care and compassion of all her health care providers at Hartford Hospital; her physicians, the Neuro-Trauma ICU Unit and her Palliative Care Group. We would also like to thank the wonderful staff at New Britain Hospital for Special Care for the excellent services and kindness they gave Susan last year. Susan had a passion for people, horses and dogs. She was a confidant and true friend. Sue had a great sense of humor that will be missed by all that knew and loved her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:00 at the Church of the Assumption Adams St. South, Manchester.
