Obituary of Barbara Crusoe

Barbara (James) Crusoe, 85, of East Hartford died on Saturday (May 15, 2010) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Hartford on May 11, 1925 she was the daughter of William A. and Myra (Farrell) James. Barbara graduated from Mt. St. Joseph Academy and attended St. Joseph College. She formerly worked at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft and in later years worked at CBT. Barbara had served as a Girl Scout Troop leader and gained great joy in summering at Harvard, MA with her daughter and family. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Jacqueline and Thomas Morrison of East Hartford; her twin granddaughters Barbara and Grace; her cousin Albert Acker of NY and several other relatives. Barbara was the former wife of Jack S. Crusoe. A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday (5/22) at 11:00 at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with the Rev. Al Turner officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10-11. In lieu of flowers it is suggested that memorial donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation of CT 2139 Silas Deane Highway Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
