Thomas Charles Quagliano, 59, of Branford, died suddenly at his home, April 22, 2010. Born in New Haven, November 16, 1950, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary Carpentier Quagliano. Tom worked as a production engineer with Saft America, Inc. of North Haven. Tom enjoyed his work and spent free time with friends and family, camping, fishing and driving his corvette. His survivors include his daughter and her fiance', Ashley Quagliano and Bernard Bedard, Jr. of Putnam; a son Jay Quagliano (Marianne) of Colorado Springs, CO; two brothers Charles Quagliano, Jr. of Branford and Allan (Mylissa) Quagliano of East Haven; a sister Charlene (Dennis) Boyce of No. Brandford; aunts and uncles Carmen (Ellen) Carpentier and Frank (Mary) Quagliano; several cousins and his beloved granddaughter Olivia Ann Bedard. Family and friends may call at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 W. Center St. Manchester on Wednesday (4/28) from 11:00 - 12:00. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 followed by burial in East Cemetery, Manchester. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
