Obituary of Lawrence Bagley
Lawrence F. Bagley, 66, died on Saturday (May 1, 2010) at his Coventry home of 28 years surrounded by his family. Born in Hartford on March 13, 1944, he leaves his wife Joanne Bagley of 28 years. Lawrence enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, working in his garden, Nascar, and trips to Cape Cod. He loved his animals and was always there to lend a hand to a person in need. Larry held a variety of jobs throughout his life including, Tax Collector for the Waterfront Association in Coventry, Manchester Country Club, Housing Service in Hartford, D&M Recovery and Towing in Middletown, and he also enjoyed locksmithing. He is also survived by his son Larry Bagley of Manchester and son Michael Bagley and his wife Debora of Middletown. He is also survived by his mother Mertis, sister Cynthia and her husband Jim Martin, sister Diane and her husband Ed Carnelli, brother-in-law Ron Wierzchowski, brother-in-law Bob Wierzchowski and his wife Lynn, and various nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Larry's family would like to offer a special thank you to their friends, family, neighbors, the VNA Hospice staff, and his Doctor's for their care, support and love. Funeral service will be held on Thursday (May 6th) at 11 am at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by burial in East Cemetery, Manchester.
