James F. Tierney, 76, of Manchester the husband of Katherine A. (Myska) Tierney died Sunday (April 11, 2010) at his home. James was a US Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War and had retired from Geissler's Supermarket where he had made an extended family over many years. Besides his wife he is survived by several children and grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester, CT on Thursday April 15th at 11 am. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 9-11.
