Ernest A. Beruby, 80, of Manchester died on Monday (March 15, 2010) at St. Francis Hospital. Ernie was born in Manchester, the son of the late Alphonse E. and Ida (Gauthier) Beruby and was a life long resident. He graduated from Howell Cheney Technical School, served in the US Army and was formerly employed by Moriarty Brothers and Fogarty Brothers. He was a life time member of the Army and Navy Club, a communicant of St. James Church and an avid Red Sox fan. He is survived by ten cousins including Lynne Mulkin, who helped with his care and his many friends at Manchester Manor. Ernie's family would like to offer a special thank you to the nurses, aides and staff at Manchester Manor for their support and wonderful care. Funeral service will be held on Saturday (3/20) at 10:00 from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 at St. James Church 896 Main St. Manchester with burial in St. James Cemetery.
